As the title says "saving dahlia seeds"

When I walk around the plots,  people grow some stunning Dahlias and I thought about pinching a few seed heads at the end of the season.

Does anyone do it? Is it easy?

Took the plot in June 2019, I believe it had been empty for 3 years - These are private plots and someone has kindly let me use one that used to belong to their dad. The only downside is I suppose they could kick me out anytime, it’s a risk I'm prepared to take however it does limit my spending on the likes of a new shed, PT, etc....

Is there any way to get to the last post read in a topic? I seem to always be taken to the first post but there could be 6 pages of posts. I’ve tried clicking on green arrow or on the subject itself but no luck.

Here was me thinking everything would be transferred over from the other site have been rummaging about on here for 2 or 3 days so finaly posted on here

I have been growing lavender plants from seeds for the last few months, I want to plant them along the base of my garden fence on the outside of the fence. I ljust be the smell of lavender, and I can trim it every year with the hedge clippers.

I now have 38 plants potted in my nursery and more seeds sowed.

   

This has got to be the windiest year I've ever known.

At present its howling down the chimney and causing mass destruction in the local area. Leaves and branches are all over the place as if autumn has come early.
Anything without any weight is being blown around the garden.

I was at the allotment earlier and was glad to get out of the greenhouse where I am sure the glass was pulsating with he wind. I am now at the point of 'sod it' let it do what it will and I will clear up the mess once it calms down.
