Picked my first two courgettes. Both Defender.

never mind forgetting the photo - you’ll have plenty more opportunities.
FEW, how big do you let them grow before picking ideally and if you miss that window what are they like bigger.
Strawberries, tomatoes and hair.
Yellow & green haricot, salad leaves, black currants, red currants, jostaberries, radish.
Yesterday the same plus beetroot.
Salad leaves, land cress, mizuna, basil, radish pods, spring onions and a cucumber.
Decided to tip out a bucket of Charlottes there’s enough for 4 dinners from that one seed potato.
Raspberries, courgettes, mangetout, chard, broad beans.
Beetroot and lettuces, bit of a theme at the moment.
No raspberries the blackbirds seem to get there before me in the mornings.
I plant to harvest a turnip or swede as you guys call it, for dinner tomorrow. My first time growing them in years and they look a nice small size just enough for 2 dinners for the wife. I hate the flipping vegetable.
