Blackbird egg shell. So there’s new life in my garden somewhere.

Today I rescued a large red damselfly from the polytunnel. It sat on my hands for ages.

Female sparrow hawk. Plus a not very happy Male house sparrow. Unfortunately picture didn't come out great.
Found this little fella in my Chilli tunnel.

After looking through my books & the web. I couldn’t find it.

So I sent the photo here

I got a response very quickly. It’s a parasitic tachinid fly, Tachina grossa.

If it’s parasitic does that mean he’s Bad News  Confused
