Turned into a wet and windy day so I sorted some cupboards in the kitchen dresser. Found some Runner bean piccalilli made in August 2016! I'm not even brave enough to open the jar, let alone eat it!

Go on, be brave, you might be surprised.  You can always chuck it.

Plan for today is to get the final few barrowloads of logs transported and stacked ,hopefully before the rain comes again!

Did a bit more clearing the old asparagus bed that was productive till 2021. It's full of couch grass spaghetti.

It's a good job Veggie said she had had a look round the garden. I did the same yesterday and came across my seed potatoes for next year on staging in a greenhouse. There ate frosts likely in the next week or two and that would have been the end of them.
