Last pick of the rhubarb, lettuce, courgettes, kale & a few purple sprouting broccoli leaves.
It was not last night but the night before Big Grin but OMG! They were delicious..

7 Courgettes, some mangetout and a bowl of raspberries.
Tomatoes for lunch....
Salad bowl lettuce, land cress, basil, chives, nasturtiums flowers, radishes and spring onions.

Those Toms look great scarlet I’m rather envious.

Well I don't think I've ever had beans so thin and long as this before? The weather? The variety?

This is Avalon - from the seed circle a few years.
Average length is about 6inches...some are 7 and a half. Very chuffed with these today.

# these are early as they are planted in the green house. I have climbing ones outside - nowhere near cropping yet.
Are they DFBs, Scarlet, maybe from Nellie?
I've just looked through my beans stash - found Artemis, Avalon, Adour, Aramis - but not Avalon!
Sorry...just went back up to check!

They are Aquilon - dwarf french bean.

I don't know who they came from. I can't find the pack but definitely from a swap. I will be growing these again. Must make sure I don't eat them all as I've only 10 plants.
One raspberry and a dish of strawberries.
