Cabbage, runner beans, broccoli, carrots & first sprouts of the season
Courgettes and tomatoes
9 Tromboncino & a sweet pepper
Potatoes kilian, lemoncellla and capsicum chillis and lettuce
Yesterday, carrots, toms, herbs, courgette to go in a soup.

This morning apples and raspberries.
Carrots onions and potatoes, then parsley thyme and rosemary
A big bunch of parsley flat leaf & curled
Couple of hundred grams each of Boltardy and Chioggia beetroot (once the leaves were cut off) and a few Paris Market carrots.

One of the carrots has forked into three (actually rather cute!) and my beetroot harvest has been disappointing - most of them are still too small to be worth picking unless I want to pickle them - lots of leaves, but they're full of holes and not very appetising.

Any advice? Should I blame the weird weather this summer? It's oscillated between baking hot and sodden here in East Anglia. Also I'm growing my veg in a couple of old raised beds, only about 6 inches deep (planning on replacing them with deeper ones over the winter as crops finish) - they were about half full of old soil and compost, and I topped them up with multi-purpose peat-free before planting.
Harvested the last of the tomatoes, some sweet peppers & chillies.
Toms, lettuce, basil, nasturtium seeds, apples and raspberries yesterday.
