Leeks & kale
raspberries and beetroot.
200g raspberries, had 60g with same of red currants ffrom freezer drizzled with honey and topped with cream.
I don't think I'll be growing cylindra beetroot again. they grow too tall out of the ground and both mice and rats will eat them. I can earth up the round ones which seems to deter the varmints.
Pack Choi, Chinese cabbage, spring onions, coriander, radish pods, parsley. Stir fry assured.
Raspberries, spring onions, assorted lettuce leaves and some land cress.
Raspberries, JA’s, carrots, parsnips and herbs.
Swiss chard
Leeks, purple sprouts, cabbage & sprouting broccoli.
Yesterday mixed lettuce today will be carrots for tonight's pie.

I'm hoping for the same this year DJ, hoping!
Well I picked my first one today, about a 1/4 the size of yours DJ but it's still a parsnip. I just bunged them in for an experiment this year so I'm looking forward to next yearSmile

Not sure if anyone can confirm what I read about the seeds, they need to be new each year??
Parsnip germination is hit or miss at anytime, fresh seed often produces better germination rates. Some people prefer to pre germinate before sowing
