2020/21 - Tonight’s recipe

Courgette & chorizo frittata, chips, trusty side salad

Today was a steak, potato and mushroom pie with carrots, french beans and some peas out of the freezer. 
Did make an apple crumble but was to full so we’ll be having that tomorrow for lunch along with custard.

Having the rest of yesterday’s pie but with with cauliflower and carrots.

Roast veg (butternut squash, courgette, aubergine, toms, onions, garlic) and olives and mushrooms with roast parsnips and sweet potato.

Roast pork with all home grown veggies

Proper Basque piperade with improper spaghetti & harissa !

Homemade chicken curry with all home grown ingredients including the chicken.

Sausage casserole with garden veg and a couple of slices of sourdough.

Courgette fritters again. I'm heartily sick of them but MrPP insisted! Today flavoured with fresh ginger, garlic, chilli (habanero Maya red) & garam masala.

Cheese on toast this evening.

Proper Irish stew look cooked in the slow cooker for about 41/2 hours. Made with lamb steaks, carrots and onions from the garden, herbs from the garden and a nice lamb stock thickened with pearl barley and red lentils and served with some very nice garden spuds
