This evening we had roast stuffed pork loin, with steamed potatoes and steamed carrots from the poly tunnel and meat juice gravy, sprinkled with freshly chopped parsley

Smoke cod with new pots and peas
Tonight was toad in the hole made using beef & horseradish sausages with peas & gravy.
Gammon steaks, fried egg on top, last years frozen broad beans, carrots and potato wedges for him, mashed cauliflower for me. Not really exotic. Key Lime Pie for afters, for him at least.
Steak and air-fried new potatoes with mushrooms and bearnaise sauce. None of it home grown, but it was the quickest I could do, in order to get to my online tutorial with the Open University for 7pm
Lockdown pasta.
Tagliatelle (use by Sept 2014!!)
2 mushrooms, a tomato and a homegrown courgette, cooked in a little oil and stirred into some leftover mushy peas.
Serve with tagliatelle and a glass of red.
We had the rest of the stuffed pork loin.
Have a special dinner tomorrow evening as it’s the wife’s 60th birthday, so will probably BBQ a couple of steaks and wedges.
