Identified a new bird in the garden, a bluethroat seen it twice. Too far away and flighty to photo, so far.

They've arrived and not damaged - just a couple of "cuttings"!

Looks nice Veggie! They are making me happy too, arriving in such excellent condition!
I picked fresh yellow cherry tomatoes for my breakfast this morning - that made me very happy. They're delicious

The blue throat arrived on the same perch again, but looking a little different. A nightingale! Heard most years, although not this year, but never seen What a birdie week!

Not garden related but nextdoor lady, with very restrict mobility and dementia managed to strip the insulation from her riser/recliner handset making it unsafe. I managed to source replacement. The company was so helpful and a handset was received and I was able fit it within a couple of days. I love it when it all goes to plan.

Returned to Grimsby for a weekend of packing and found that a small handful of cherry tomatoes have survived my complete neglect/lack of watering, and somehow managed to ripen. A very delicious tiny handful it was too!
Formerly self-contained, but expanding my gardening horizons beyond pots!
