Just spending the day in my garden, I'm either gardening or reading under the gazebo. Mostly reading though Big Grin

A blackbird flew out of the soft fruit bed.
I said to her, in my best voice, "You norty bird, I know what you're eating!".
Then I noticed her perfect nest, about 2 foot above ground, one side against the chicken wire fence, probably resting on a fruit bush of some kind.
The icing on the cake - 4 beautiful blue eggs.Smile
I'll stay away from the area until she's finished with it - she can eat as much fruit as she likes.

Seeing 2 pigeons side by side in the bird bath pretending they were ducks.
They got in the water got out.
Gardening is cheaper than therapy and you get tomatoes.

Sticking to the feathered theme, a squadron of swifts belting through the garden at nose height and only about a metre and a half from said nose. Wow!

I was wondering where this thread had gone. Thought I was going mad on Saturday when I couldn’t find it  Confused .

Bob arrived home Saturday after the weekly run to shop for supplies. With 5 goose & 8 duck eggs. So the second incubator is on now as well  Cool .

Seeing the smile on the face of my aged  neighbours at home, who's greenhouse is empty, when I gave them four varied tomato plants and a cucumber plant to help fill it up. Cool Priceless. Big Grin

The happy face of a friend of my husband's (in his 90s) when I took him a portion of my pasta bake I made last night.

Fellow plot holder offered me 12 cabbages to plant, I politely declined as I have no space, am still digging / talking about digging 80% of the plot.
