For brunch I had 1/2lb of bacon and four fried eggs. For tea time I dug out some Biltong beef from the freezer and had some of that with another three boiled eggs.
I did have problems with the first lot of Biltong I made going mouldy untilI I bagged up what I didn't need straight away of the second batch and frozei it in small portions. It has kept really well (made a few months ago) and whats more I dont need to defrost it as being thinly cut,it defrosts in the mouth and is quite filling!
I will hopefully procure some more thin cut beef this evening from Morries and make another batch in the dehydrator now I seem to have cracked it!

Another experiment that turned out ok for me. Fried up some minced beef & pork added some finely chopped stewing steak that I cut up with my fish filleting knife because of it's sharpness.I added some out of date tomato passata I found in cupboardy,an oxo cube and some chilli from a packet mix. Some italian herbs finished it off.
It was served with a 50p pouch of spicy Mexican style rice and topped off with grated chedder cheese. I ate around 2/3 of it and was full so I wil polish off the rest of it after my boxing workout this evening!
