Slight change of plan for first meal. Smashburgers with cheese, fried eggs and pickled gerkins. Kato only had a smashburger with cheese as he's not struck on other stuff. Smile Ribeye for Ron.

It’s pizza night.

Fingers crossed they don’t cancel because of the weather.

I had two ribeyes approxinately the same size so decided to do an experiment. I cookked one my normal way (2.5 minutes a side in the grill pan)and the other I cooked in the air fryer for 15 minutes turning twice at 5 minute intervals. I had them both with three of Morrions banty/pullet eggs. Cool

Surprisingly the air fried ribeye was more tasty and had a softer texture (pinky in the middle) than the grilled version which was only cooked for 5 minutes.

If I was looking at both I would pick the ribeye done in the grill pan, but for taste and texture it would have to be the air fried version!

I now have a dilemma to sort out as in my families secret santa I had asked for a cast iron grill pan, but now I am not so sure! Huh
