2023 - Tonight's recipe

Meatballs with pasta in a mushroom and tomato sauce.

Last night’s taste testing was very good.

Tonight is all day breakfast.

Roast chicken plus trimmings. That'll do us for at least three days.

B. SD Toast & jam
L. SD Toast, crab paste and GH lettuce
D. "Basmati Rice and brown lentils, cooked with fried onions and spices" plus mushrooms and vegan Duck balls!!

Fishy Friday so cod in a parsley sauce with tenderstem brocolli!

Had Take out yesterday then today our usual Tagliatelle and Bol.

Vegetable curry tonight

Steak and mushroom pie with potatoes and veg.

Doc says Ihave to lay off the red meat so instead of my Sunday Roast I had to find summat to make with turkey mince!  The only thing I could thinkof was a stir fry with loads of veg, chillies, YS Edname beans and a boat load of garlic.
It was ok,ish but the mince reminded me a bit of Tofu which I find quite tasteless. The fresh chillies in it helped to flavour it a lot though!

Vinny a couple of turkey recipes I use when I'm  trying to lose weight. The kebabs are nice and garlicky, I never bother putting them on skewers just grill the pieces. I like it with chicken better than turkey.
