Most of us are on the Norty step just for being here.
Its a while since I've cooked with tofu but I remember cubing it, dipping the cubes in soy sauce, then sesame seeds and frying it. If you don't have sesame seeds, maybe cornflour or ordinary flour would do.

Do you drain it/dry it before cooking it?

I carefully put the chunks into a frying pan with hot oil. Tried to pre-cook it for 10 minutes before adding the veg. In that time it hadn't browned and just starte dfalling apart so I put the veg in, mixed it up and was left with tofu mince!
The whole lot looked like something the dog had thrown up!

It's P's birthday so he's chosen roast lamb and chocolate roulade, hopefully not on the same plate

He says thank you and that it's the pees that he worries about these days rather than the peas

B. Strawberries & granola (10p)
L. Sourdough bread with Hummus and rocket
D. Leftover mash & spuds with Coral lentils (Hodmedods) and carrots.
COST 10p plus the lentils - no idea but they were Best before June 2021.
