Another slight change of plan . Not adding any more to my list . Just changed a location for growing the Lima/ butter beans. In stead of growing them at one of the holiday cottages I clean (not convinced I’ll still be doing it by time they are ready for harvest). I’ve planted them in my new garden with the runner beans. I won’t be able to save seeds from either of them, like I’d planned. But I will still get to harvest & eat things from my own garden. I’m going to be so excited to pick that first bean .
Thanks Veggie (I think?) for the Hunter bean seed in the seed swap. It's my new favourite bean - really tender and sweet. I find normal French beans a bit boring without some sort of dressing, but the Hunter I enjoy just on their own.

Veggie introduced me to Hunter beans too, always on my grow list now.

With 3kg of french beans in the freezer and quite a few in the fridge, I think I'll leave the rest to mature now for next years seeds. Any extras can be added to lots of dinners. with other varieties I grow just for drying.
