No idea, sorry, but I used to make my own tofu from soya beans. Very cheap to do and quite fun!
From memory you grind the dry soybeans, cover them with water, which produces soya milk. Drain it to leave the milk and pulp (okara). Then curdle the milk with lemonjuice/cider vinegar until it forms curds and whey. Strain it and press the curds into blocks. The longer it strains, the firmer the tofu.
You can use the okara in cooking and the strained liquid also.
A pound of beans keeps you fed for a week - until you're sick of the sight of soya. Big Grin

Makeshift Sunday dinner as I didn't have a lot of time and I was starving Rolleyes . Made mince with JR's and mixed veg. To the yorkshire pudding batter I added chilli flakes and was quite impressed with the flavoursome yorkies! Cool
