Tonight we have friends round. Menu is
Sweet pepper soup ( actually made with ripe Padron ) with wild garlic & nettle pesto tear & share bread.
Venison fillets with a red currant & red wine sauce, chips & peas
Rhubarb & vanilla cake.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Took some roast chicken (cold) and slaw/potato salad and some fruit to hospital for hubby as food is awful. That was my meal last night too. Any ideas for other cold dishes I could take him up if he’s in much longer.
