Can you section off some of it and try drain it by putting in some pipes and a stone sink ?
My neighbours have done that and they grow potatoes in the soft peaty soil.
I live on the bog but my land has all been raised out of the bog by stones so over the years I have had to buy top soil and compost etc. To build up a decent level of soil for growing in.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

ok, so the drainage should be sorted then, so it will be less wet. What's the soil like? Is it clay?

How lucky Sand is probably good for drainage. Other than that, I'm guessing it depends on how alkaline or acidic the soil is, whichever you want it to move.

Just a quick photo so you can see what I’m trying to drain & improve.
