Flowering currant?

Is this a flowering currant? which is currently (sic) in full bloom. If so, I want one for my garden as it would cheer me up no end when not much else is flowering. Big Grin

I think it's Viburnum "Dawn", Vinny.

It looks more like a cherry to me. But I really don’t know.

I'd go with a viburnum of some sort as it's in flower now.

Another Vote for Viburnum.
Flowering currants smell of cats, rub the leaves and they smell of blackcurrants (a bit).

Strangely, I have a viburnum in my garden somewhere so will have to find it and see if it is flowering. Huh (Wonders, are they hard to take cuttings from?) Rolleyes

According to this it's scented as well so I will have to have a sniff! Cool

Just bought a plant off Amazon as with Prime I get free delivery. Can't be bad at £8.99 delivered. (Wonder whether it will have any flowers on it?) Cool

Ooh, I have one of those - I was wondering what it was Big Grin

And Googling it just now has also helped me find out that my other shrub that's currently flowering is a winter-flowering honeysuckle, so that's a double win!
Formerly self-contained, but expanding my gardening horizons beyond pots!

I bought a winter flowering honeysuckle last year and I am disappointed that it hasn't flowered this year! Angry
