2020/21 - Tonight’s recipe

My daughter and grandsons are gone on holidays for 2 weeks so it’s just me and the missus so Indian takeaway tonight with a few Cobra beers.

Gammon steak, egg, chip & mixed veg.

Quiche, cauli, carrot, sweet potato and potato wedges. The potatoes were kestrel variety done using olive oil and were very nice.

Yesterday Sausage and veg casserole,
My contribution, toms, courgettes, runners, peas, herbs and some JA's from the freezer.

Having the same again this evening.

As its my chicken day today,my one meal  was chicken thighs marinated with honey,soy sauce,chopped spring onions, minced garlic and olive oil with apple cider vinegar. Really nice oven cooked on a bed of rice with fried courgette covered in leftover marinade.

Fish, chips & peas

Tuna Tuesday today but wonders whether a gammon steak would go well with it? We shall see.

Mackerel, charlottes mixed lettuce, cuc, toms radishes and assorted pickle and chutney.

Habanero infused gammon with stir fry and brocolli.

Chilli con carne using my home grown tomatoes, garlic, chilli, onion, peppers and peas.
