Its always flexible though because Sometimes I just fancy cheese on toast instead of our intended meal. And so it should be Bren. Have you tried marmite or onion relish with your cheese on toast?
It's been easier sticking to the list during lockdown as I'm not out as much to get distracted
Once Mrs B finishes work on 11th Dec I think I'll spend a bit more time on a couple of more upmarket meals for her during the week.

Chicken and bean enchiladas tonight with the first ever attempt at using my own dried and rehydrated beans. The beans are currently boiling away in the pressure cooker so they'll be ready for the wraps tonight. They aren't kidney beans though, they're coco a blanc summat, and I'm doing them early enough that I can use a tin if they're a disaster. This might be the start of something new to me - cooking with my own saved beans.
