Thanks Vinny
Your pun is pardoned
Do you have any advice on storing the tubers, can I or should I plant them now?
Many thanks......

These are my leeks - all shapes and sizes. The ones in the black pot at the back should have been planted out - but weren't so they can stay there now. I'd call those pencil thickness.

Right, I've got two more questions and that's it, promise.
Could the thickness, or lack of it, be down to me not making a big enough hole with the dibber?
Can I lift these and plant them somewhere else?
Many thanks.....

When did you plant them?
Still haven't seen a photo of yours!

Sarcastic? Me???? Surely not. ;P
Your leeks look fine - very healthy. You just need to add a little more patience.
Have you considered growing the JAs in containers? If you decide you don't like them, they'll be easier to dispose of. When I grew them, I couldn't get rid of them as they'd spread everywhere and they kept coming back for years (and I don't mean as wind).

Patience, I'm a man! Ok I'll let them alone.
Regards the JA's, not considered containers but given the leeks deserve a stay of execution I'll bung them down the bottom for this year. Can I plant them now?
Thanks for your advice Veggie

My leeks are growing through the weeds I intend leaving them there till the spring when I hope to harvest them. I suppose I could always dig a few and cook them as baby leeks, be nice with chicken and a white wine sauce.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.
