Venison cottage pie, used home grown herbs in it ( sage, hyssop, thyme & chives) topped with mustard mash. With the last of our DFB from the freezer & nice thick gravy.

We had pizza last night Half margarita/neopolitan for DD and prosciutto with rocket for me and OH. Combined with pizza garlic bread. Pudding was toasted marshmallows, melted chocolate, fresh strawberries and melon. Thought I might do calzone and Korean chicken tonight. DD is vegetarian so I often do two meals.
A pocket knife is not a weapon in the right hands it’s an essential garden tool.
Jacket potatoes for us tonight still undecided what with though might be with chilli I still have a few frozen in take out trays, having salad blue cheese wraps for lunch.
Tonight was salmon baked with lemon and capers, homemade tartare sauce, new potatoes, asparagus, carrots and peas. ( The potatoes and asparagus were fresh from the allotment and the peas were last years crop from the freezer).
Crab, chilli & linguine again tonight. Followed by rhubarb crumble muffins. Because we seem to be having a muffin case crisis on the island . Had to use cupcake cases. So had some mix left over, some made a little cake with it.
