A visit to the plot today, tidied one strawberry bed, one more to go, may also introduce a 3rd!

One of the guys at the allotment seems to have a new/different job each week.  I asked him how he was getting on at his most recent job and he told me he quit. When I asked him why he said it was because "They didn't include me when they went for a Macdonalds at lunch time!"

More time for your Plot. These big companies work their warehouse staff ragged, such is the price of cheap online shopping. Amazon is particularly bad, I believe. Even supermarkets are squeezing staff more and more trying to reduce their costs to compete with Aldi/Lidl, cutting staff numbers and expecting the remaining workers to do more work for the same pay.

Quick visit to the plot today...
Finished 2nd strawberry plot, also tidied the asparagus bed and mulched with a layer of comfrey.
