2020/21 - Tonight’s recipe

Chicken leg & chips.
with the first sampling of this year’s batch of chive flower vinegar.

Due to a successful fishing trip it’s turned into scampi and chips. Still with the chive vinegar.

Is it Monkfish scampi or from a Langustine? Such an ugly fish the Monkfish, I wouldn't know where to start preparing it.

Neither.  dogfish scampi, it lovely.

   

Never prepared monkfish. I know it’s only the tail that’s edible, so it can’t be that tricky.
