I did however clear one of the greenhouses ready for the spring but need to replace some of the glazing strip first.
I feel for you Boss, fingers crossed you get good news.

Good luck tomorrow boss.
After yesterday’s failed attempt to plant all the lovely things Veggie sent me. The rain just got heavier and heavier so I ran away and dried off. A full 24 hours for my plants to have a drink, definitely did them the world of good.
Today I continued very successfully. Taunton dean kale dipped in rooting hormone and potted up, elephant garlic planted, babington leeks planted.
Then put up some wind brake to help protect them as it’s not the most sheltered spot at the moment.
Then planted the turmeric and slashed the back of my begonia leaf. Both are now in the propagator in my caravan.
It not turned on but it can be if it needs it.
Also weeded my pot of original babington leeks and gave them a fresh top dressing. Added them and the bay to the sheltered area.
Also dismantled another temporary shed. The boards from it are getting used on my shed.

Planted some module grown Aquadulce Broad beans in VP4.
Planted some sprouting potatoes in 2 tubs in GH1 and planted some spring onions (FREE ones that have been rooting in a jam jar) in one of the tubs.
There are potato shoots breaking through in one of the previously planted tubs
Found 4 CFB pods hiding in the passion flower so brought them in to dry off. Hopefully there are beans inside that can be save for next year.

Pulled up a squash in the GH as the baby squash has no chance of becoming an adult.
Topped up the wormeries with chopped straw to keep them warm and toastie.
Snapped up lots of branches and twigs that had fallen from the trees and dropped them on the paths. My version of wood chip.
Cleared some brittle polycarb roof panels from the back of the old chicken run and put them in the waste bin. They make a very satisfying snap but bits fly everywhere.
Pulled up more vinca and added them to a pile where I'm hoping the leaves will fall off over winter and I'll be left with stems and roots to dispose of. Knowing my luck they'll all grow instead of dying!
Talking about luck, I have several horseshoes, stuck in the wire around the original chicken run. I bent down to pick up my trowel, caught hold of the wire, and a horse shoe fell out and landed just in front of my head. My luck was in today.

This morning was shed roof improvements. Because it is a tin roof, it just created lots of condensation. Which is no good at all. So this morning the roof came off. Wooden sheets were put on the roof then covered in building paper. Then battens then the roof was put back on. Under very strict supervision as you can see.
We got finished just before the rain started. Rain stop play for the rest of the day.

Filled 3 x 30ltr pots with old compost and sowed mixed salad leaves in them (GH1).
Scattered a jar of old flower seeds and some nasturtium seeds in the garden.
Pulled up some Vinca and noticed a spot of blood on my hand! On closer examination, it turned out to be a ladybird!! Sorry for disturbing you, Mrs.
Saw daffodils starting to emerge from their blanket of fallen leaves. Spring is on its way.

Finally finished putting up all the shelves in the garden shed. And started filling it. It’s going to take a few days to get everything in its final place.
