For lunch (known in my neck of the woods as dinner! ) I had 3 fried eggs (75p) 3 pieces of fried black pudding (75p) and cooking bacon crisped up in air fryer (40p) Not as cheap as Veggies meals but at £1.90 total, not bad value and very tasty .

Tonight was a new recipe for us. Found it on YouTube. Cabbage, rice bowl.
Comprising of shredded cabbage, garlic, spring onions, bacon, soy sauce & oyster sauce. When all that’s cooked. Make a hole in the middle and break an egg into it. Cover until egg is cooked. Then serve on a bed of rice. Then garnish with some more spring onion and sesame seeds.
Surprisingly very tasty.

Edit Reason: Change of plan
)
Prawns and scrambled eggs for brunch with leg-of-mince for ron.
Change of plan as I picked up a bag of mussels which I had for tea and I have steak and kidney bubbling away in the slow cooker and ready to eat about now!
