Last night a rare slab of steak (a treat and cooked rare!), red cabbage & carrot slaw, polenta chips.
Tonight left over smoked sausage & black bean casserole from the freezer bulked with carrots & the last leek!
A bird - Im still not sure what it was - slightly smaller than a pheasant, not gamey. Label lost!
With baked potatoes, carrots bakrd in a little left over wine. I made a peppercorn sauce for the bird.
