Last summer I bottled some fish soup using the glut of tomatoes and unsold fish from a friend's fish & chips business, so I mixed that with asparagus, leeks, vegetable spaghetti, swiss chard and potatoes. Not bad at all, but we now await the botulism...

Made ravioli filled with roast pumpkin, thyme, oregano, Roquefort & parmesan. Pasta was a bit too thick but for the first time ever none burst in the boiling water!

B. Stewed rhubarb & granola (10p)
L. Homemade soup made with Hodmedod's "Broth Mix" - dried peas, lentils, grains etc. Very solid!! ?Cost
D. Y/S Vegan sausages (12p), mixed root veg mash & fried bolted onions.
Total cost 22p + Broth Mix

Yesterday tagliatelle and bol.
This evening beef and yorkshire puds, with parsnips. mashed potatoes, kale, carrots and french beans.
I found a bag of french beans hiding in the freezer.
