Yellow sticker 'Butchers beef mince' from Morries (whatever that is, no fat percentage on it?) It was nice though, served with sweetheart cabbage & mashed swede.

B. Banana, Toffee yogurt and granola (10p)
L. Sourdough Olive ciabatta with coleslaw.
D. Leftover "hot" veggies with pasta to cool it down.
Doughnut for later.
Cost - 10p. I should stop eating granola as its ruining my FREE eating plan.

Pressure-cooked chicken with a lemon and herb flavouring I've just tried from Lidl - very nice. Served with roast mini potatoes, green beans, broccoli, peas and cavolo nero kale. Delicious!
I also cooked a beef stew for tomorrow. High marks for the celery that I used. It's the peppermint stick celery variety, with big leaves and mild flavour throughout, compared to shop bought celery sticks. I might eat more of it now I have two bunches of it growing, and although it was sulking after the cold snap, it's bounced right back again.

As a bit of an experiment and because it is Meatless Monday, plus I didn't have much in the house, I decided to make an Indian inspired omelette for one. Fried up onions and mushrooms then added ,chillies, cumin, turmeric and garam masala. Let it cool down a bit before adding mixture to three beaten eggs and mixing well. Back into frying pan with olive oil on low heat with a plate over pan.
Major success I am pleased to say and served with boiled rice it was a treat! Deffo be making it again in the future!
