Happy? Well, yeah probably.
40 years wed today, and they said it wouldn't last. We're celebrating by Paul refixing my gh vent with a handle, me by keeping out of his way and putting more bean sticks up, but not in my normal shape. How's that for being adventurous. May stop and have a cup of tea in the sun later on. We do live an exciting life, don't we?

Congratulations on your Ruby Wedding, JJB and Paul.
Did you know..........
"FLOWER: : The nasturtium is a very interesting flower/plant. Nasturtiums are late bloomers that are usually orange or reddish in color. They are perfect for the fall. The leaves and flowers, when cooked, are used to treat infections, colds, flu and digestive issues. The nasturtium is not a very well known flower, so when your spouse asks what kind of flower it is, you can explain that it is the traditional 40th wedding anniversary flower. He or she will be impressed that you have done your homework."

At least five wrens fledged from the boot nestbox on the pergola - there may have been more but I was concentrating on grabbing the wriggling cat, shoving him indoors and locking the cat flap. He's a bit old, but had finally worked out what all the noise was about!!

Not sure I'd be too happy about that, but I can empathise from this distance
