2020/21 - Tonight’s recipe

Sausage casserole, carrots, parsnips, JA's, runners, toms, peas and oregano.

With store bought mushrooms, onions, garlic, courgettes and some paprika.

Roast chicken in a giant yorky with potatoes beetroot cabbage beans

Tonight we’re having the very well known “ we need to make space in the freezer “   .

So it’s a very random meat feast (chicken breast, venison steak, venison sausages & black pudding) with ratatouille.

Pork chops,mashed tattie and mashed turnip along with Spring Cabbage. I had roasted parsnips as well but OH doesn't like em.
All smothered in lashings of gravy!

Chilli con carne made with minced beef, diced onion, diced mushrooms, finely chopped lemonella chillies 2 off these and 1 orange Killian chilli, garlic ginger, pasta stock pot and water to make the sauce, with some frozen garden peas, served with rice. Mmmmmmmm

Home grown Roast chicken and lots of homegrown veggies with some very lumpy gravy! Less than impressed.

Fish, chips, peas with a slice of bread and butter.
Nothing from the garden only chive flower vinegar.

Pork chops, mashed potatoes with parsley and butter, curly kale.

Chicken kebabs

Poached eggs on marmite toast.

Choice of rice pud or apple crumble and custard for afters. Not decided yet.
