Please can we have summer back?

Apart from a couple of days, it hasn't really felt like summer since that hot spell in June. More like October.
The rain hasn't stopped all day - I haven't even ventured as far as the GH. The courgette plants will be floating in the old pond!
It has rained most of the day here as well but I much prefer this to the near 40C last summer of what they have got in Southern Europe right now. Still managed to go for a walk in a dinnertime lull.

It's set in for the night now and forecast to carry on till early Monday.
Its rained here since yesterday morning with a brief break after lunch. The gardens rather soggy.
It feels quite autumnal this morning. Sunny spells, a very stiff breeze ( not good for putting tin on the garage roof) and a definite chill to it. No rain at the moment. Would like to keep it that way.
The rain has passed through up to you folks north and we've got humid sunny spells with the odd spit of rain. Very sticky out there nd I've been bitten by bugs for a past time.
Sunshiny here too but the courgette bed has reverted to a pond - standing water in it. Fortunately, all the courgettes were planted in open bottomed pots so the leaves are well above the wet stuff. Hopefully, there be a few more courgettes now.
The rain returned yesterday afternoon and hasn't stopped since. Its chilly too.
Warm enough here, very gloomy and humid. The humidity grows up to being drizzle quite frequently.
