My happy today was having a Paul around the house (it sounded too rude to say 'having  a P around the house Big Grin ) Yesterday he replaced the spring in my favourite Fiskars fingerloop snips, even though there are no spares available  he found an old spring in the workshop and has ordered a brand new one to the right dimensions to do the job properly.  Without the repair they would been throwaway and I 2ould have been very miffed

Today I  was revamping the strawberry 'planter' on the patio aiming to just replace the top couple of inches of soil and  old strawbs with rooted runners. It's not really a planter but rather a cut down version of a dumpy bag made of similar material  which was bulging out the sides.  I had thought to dig round the sides and offer some sort of support, not sure what with though. P, bless him, stopped what he was doing (hedge cutting up a ladder) and got the kit out to cut some scaffold planks to size to put inside the woven plastic mesh planter to support the sides.  All hail P Big Grin, my hero. Now I've got to put it all back and tidy up Sad
Sold another bunch of flowers. A bit more towards windows  Cool .
A few silly things I saw this morning whilst waiting for the traffic lights to change:-
On my right - A man walking 2 little dogs on extending leads that were extended to their limits. One was behind him, sniffing a gate post and the other was trying to go full steam ahead of him. The man was stuck in the middle, arms outstretched, unable to move.
He looked so comical that I started to giggle, so hastily looked to me left to see a man in a knitted hat, that had slipped down over one ear and was sticking out at a very odd angle. Fortunately, the lights changed then, next stop the chemists to check on the time of my flu jab next week.
A cyclist rushed in to hand in a prescription, As he pulled it out of his pocket a wad of new £20 notes came with it and scattered all over the floor. Must have been £200- £300. He bent, picked them up and they squirted out of his hands back to the floor. This happened 3 times! I'm guessing he'd just taken the money from the cashpoint next door and they were the new, slippery notes.
Then I came home.
Winning another competition  Cool .
What was your prize SC? Might as well make us feel envious.
A bundle of new variety Flower seeds. No idea how many a bundle is or what varieties.

Payed a visit to the plots and was pleased to see how well my strawberry plants had settled in to their new home.
