Started off unhappy yesterday. The 25 yr old boiler had a fault, the engineer looked and sucked his teeth and shook his head and prepared us for the worst. He said he might be able to fix it, but don't get our hopes up.
The upshot is after 2hrs + about £400 worth of bits, it has been rebuilt and working perfectly and should do for a few more years
. Thank goodness it was on a service/repair contract!
Yesterday was my granddaughter’s 1st birthday. Spent a lovely day with her and she was even allowed her first piece of cake which,as you can imagine, went down a treat!
Someone has just been to pick up the fibreglass container, and after some serious doubt if it would fit into her car, it did! Glad to see the back of that
Now I just need to get my essay for uni submitted, then I can go out and get rid of the last bit of concrete
Seeing flowerbuds on the Bijou mangetout. Not long now.
Much better tomato germination than last year, even though it's with the same seeds. Small things at a difficult time.
