Ah ok Big Grin I did start mine in Autumn...I think they take ages to get going.
Are you trying to cheer me up and saying “they’ll catch up”!!

Yes Big Grin
So I thought I'd update this as a record of what I've done so far. It's pretty hard going to be honest. It was really cold last week and although I have been trying to put my anemones in there's been little rain... what I've dug over has already returned to concrete and even with my sharp trowel I'm finding it difficult. My hori hori knife might help here Smile

On the weekend I made a sweetpea wall - yes, I am crossing my fingers that it doesn't get blown down. I am trying to save space...to pick from both sides I will have to climb under the support poles Big Grin

Pictures of my 24 daucus and 24 ammi plants planted through membrane. Spaced a foot apart, domino pattern, 4 in a row. I burnt holes with a plumber torch. 60cm spacing for a path before my sweet pea wall. I used some old wire mesh fence for the peas to climb up. I'll tie in as they grow.

My anemone row- 32 foot long.
I've planted a few more in here than I should. I was trying for something along the lines of 6inch apart....but it all depended on where I could dig the holes. 5 rows. Not finished towards the more clay end! Lots still in pots to plant.
Already picked several bunches from these - gifted some to a friend on Saturday evening and sh thought I'd made them out of paper! She is now going to grow some for next year Smile

Your anemones are beautiful Scarlet Heart Heart Heart
Planted up approx 50 snap dragons. These are in the row next to the anemones. Will also use this for my larkspur and maybe the sweet williams. Only dug /weeded half of it so far. It's 32 foot long.
Maybe planted x8ft or so. These are planted 9inches apart. 5 rows.
A mix of Potomac orange/Potomac lavender - butterfly bronze to go in. These will be netted.

Thank you so much Sarriss! I'm so chuffed with them- they are pretty amazing things. I have been fleecing but I need the fleece for my snaps the last few days and the frost hasn't touched them!
