Im dithering on going myself. I have far to much for the space I have yo fill. But i really want to get some penstemons back - lost every one in the frost.... and I would like a couple of astrantia.
I just feel I’ve got too much to do.
And I can’t bring myself to chuck out all the crap stuff -just in case it springs in to life in the next few weeks.
(Bit of a forlorn hope there I think!)
I'm totally with you.... but its so tempting!
Go on then - tell me - did you go?
And if so, what treasures did you come home with?

I didn't- I resisted.

I went upto my greenhouse area and took stock of what was still lurking in pots, veronica ( some purple that I started from seed) 4 large pink that I bought last year. Echinacea, lysimachia there were 4 but the 2 beaujoulais have died and plenty more in pots thats I haven't got a clue what they are!

So I weeded out half of a bed in the garden and planted out half a dozen plants including a rose. Feel better for doing that even though I really wanted to go.
Well done for resisting temptation. I’d have been awfully jealous if you had gone!
Sounds like you spent your day at home productively though.
I’ve got 10 seedlings in modules that I think are some of your monarda lambada (unlabelled of course, so slap my wrists). Can’t be bothered to go out again (am I allowed to type knackered?) so will post a photo tomorrow for you to give your opinion.
Ive got some seedlings on the go to... gbey look very weedy to start - but they smell nice. I will take a photo
At last the rain has stopped long enough for me to take the photo of the “hoped for” Monarda. What do you think? Is it - or is it something else?

Yes, I think that is it. When its young it looks all floppy and frail... but it toughens up as it grows.
Thanks Scarlet.
I was pretty sure that it was Monarda - but as usual the labelling went to pot!
