I know achillea can be short lived - so the plan is to save seed from colours I really like and see if they come true?
Greenhouse /garden update 6th April.
Potted up a few things and also tried to plant out between showers.

The zinnias sprouted pretty quickly

Potted up the statice - I wondered if I would have got away with putting these out but Im worried that I would lose them.

Lots of the cerinthe is already out.... wondering how many I can feasibly fit in the garden.
Ive potted up all the dahlias - the temps must be good in the GH during the day as they have already put on some sturdy growth - I will need to keep an eye on the frosts!

Seedlings stacking up - snap dragons ate looking leggy. I really need to get them out. The rain really is hindering this. The ground has been too wet to dig.[attachment=6124][attachment=6125][attachment=6126][attachment=6127]
Looking good Scarlet, there looks like a hell of a lot of work in the pipeline there once the ground is ready.

Its easy to sow seeds Big Grin not so easy to plant out....Theres always lots left over. Im trying not to do that but planning on paper is so much easier/quicker to do that the digging itself!
April 8th

Busy day today - dug over one bed and planted in approx 50 snap dragons and 50 larkspur. Moved out the potted ranunculus. Best of all - finally got my husband to lend a hand Smile Measured up and knocked in posts for my larger growing area, it has been t covered over for 9months... will try to dig it over before planting up. Costs for compost to  cover/mulch is just to much. 1 tonne doesnt cover much... £70 or ££420 for 10 tonnes Sad, i will have to dig... little and often

Love the pics Scarlet. I'm exhausted just looking at the work involved.
