Can you Name the Butterflies in the image?
Don't post your answers until you've identified them all (or most of them) as, I know what you lot are like and you'll cheat.

Having trouble with 1,9 & 10. Got the others no problem.
I’ll be back later when I’ve worked it out.

I've had a stab at all of them. Never heard of half of them but the all seem to be British and in a book I have from 1981. My eldest daughter will be 40 this year.

It's number 5 that's got me stuck. It's a log, isn't it?

Stuck on 11, but I got all the others eventually (I think). When I was a teenager I was really into photographing flowers and insects (still am, tbh) so I know a lot of the names from poring over identification guides
ETA: Actually, I'm not sure about 11 and 12 - they both potentially refer to the same species. Now I'm confused!
EATA: Bingo! I finally twigged number 11, and am therefore confident I got 12 right. Yay! (I think 11 confused me because it's the wrong colour!)
How much veg and wildlife can I pack into a 6m x 8m garden in suburban Cambridge? Let’s find out!
