2 trip counters could be useful occasionally. You could be checking the mpg (kpl?) with one and still use the other to measure a particular journey.

My new thing (to me at least) is today I'm going to put grass mowings as a mulch around the plants in GH2 that has no irrigation system, to try and conserve moisture. I can water through plastic bottles alongside each plant.

I use grass clippings as mulch throughout - veg plot, fruit bed, hedges, fruit and ornamental trees. As well as keeping moisture in it seems to help the blackbirds find slugs which prefer to hide under the mulch rather than underground! I do have to tidy up after them ...

My new thing for this week is actually to revive an old thing and start daily planking again.
