Whilst clearing the brambles at the rear of where my new shed will be I came across this? It looks to be some sort of thornless berry? and I just wondered whether it was worth keeping?
Does anyone have any idea what it is?

Could be a tayberry, loganberry or one of that family. I have several but no idea what they are now. Wait until it flowers for a better idea. I'd keep it.

I'll be honest I remember planting a berry somewhere up that fenceline (thought it was higher up though?) a couple of years ago. I can't remember whether it was thornless or not and I think it was probably a Loganberry. If it was that, it hasn't made much growth especially as they are supposedly rampant aren't they?

Maybe it was struggling against the brambles? Or maybe it has tip rooted from its original position. I have a few that wander around, aimlessly - like me.

Could be, but if so, it hasn't grown much since 2021?
