Eating greens nearly every day may be one of the most powerful steps you can take to prolong your life. Your challenge this week is to add at least two servings of greens, cruciferous or otherwise, to your day.
I prefer 'reds,' as in meat. Tongue Wouldn't fancy it if it was green though! Rolleyes

The Greens are:-
Rocket, beetroot greens, collard greens, kale (black, green and red), Mesclun mix (assorted young salad greens), mustard greens, sorrel, spinach, swiss chard & turnip greens.

so I reckon you're OK with lettuce but not Cucumber.

Before you ask, Cruciferous greens like cabbage, broccoli and some of the above are a challenge for another week (one serving a day).

This week's Food Challenge:-
Your challenge is to add at least two additional servings of "other vegetables" (meaning not specifically cruciferous vegetables or leafy greens) to your day.
I think I can do this one!

Yep, I can do that. When we get home I can do cruciferous greens too. (Maybe)

Done and dusted. That's an easy one. Have seeds on breakfast cereal every day. It might not be a 'serving' but I'll count it as such anyway.

With these challenges are they cumulative or in isolation? Are you continuing with the previous weekly requirements as well as the new one? I'm not, in fact I forgot about the others Smile

The theory is that you'll develop good eating habits and, ultimately, do all the challenges every day without thinking about it!
