Pretty, bright yellow flower. Don't remember sowing it. Its in 2 places in the garden.
I'm sure I know what it is but can't remember!!

My initial thoughts was trefoil- but it's not that is it?

The closest I've found is Butterbur. http://wildflowerfinder.org.uk/Flowers/B...terbur.htm
Haven't seen any flowers yet. I'm sure the leaves were there last year too.

I couldn’t find anything like it. Are they one of the weird things that flowers before leaves appear?

I think so! They're also male and female plants with different flowers. Haven't seen any flowers of either sex!!

my cousin has this plant on his balcony, there is a lovely citrus lemon smell from the leaves when you brush your hands through them, he said it’s very effective in keeping midges and the likes away, said it would probably work with mossies.
Can anybody help in identifying it, thanks in advance
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

Its a scented leaf pelargonium - there are lots of different types.
You should be able to propagate it from cuttings.
