What was your very first harvest?

Carrot! My mum grew her own for a few years when we were little, and I remember going into the veg patch picking carrots and eating them without even washing them. Smile

This has got me thinking about what my kids first harvest memory will be. My daughter (nearly 5) has been shelling broadbeans for the 3rd year this year. We also have fond memories of her walking around with her "special carrot" from the garden eating it raw with the leaves still on. We have a couple of raspberry canes but they never get to the house thanks to her. My harvest memories with her are many already.
Our son is 14 months so his memories are still to come.
