Most packets had 8-10 seeds so I've sown the lot.  With my luck, I'll have 60 courgette plants looking for homes...........or I may have none. Big Grin
There are stirrings in the  compost............green shoots are appearing - Defender and Mikinos so far. I may have  60 plants after all. Big Grin

Well you know the ironic proverb 'may you live in interesting times', I think we may have coined  a new one 'may you germinate 60 courgettes' Big Grin

Courgette - Shooting Star/Zucchini
Cucumber - Bush Champion/Mini Munch
Marrow - Long Green Bush
Squash - Butternut Chieftain/Harlequin/Table King/Uchiki/Tromboncino

And yesterday....

Sowed white lisbon and ishikura spring onions in the yard

Sowed some chantenay carrots at the plot
Resown about 65% of the cucurbits due to poor germination. This time sowed in compost rather than the manure/compost mix!

Also sowed some more white lisbon as none of the ishikura has germinated.

Astia, Defender & Mikinos have germinated - 11 little babies so far.  I've added sow by dates and seeds in packet sown out of interest. All seeds deserve a chance. Wink

I sowed beans today too. Couldn't understand why I hadn't sown some Hunter, Fasold or Marvel of Venice. Couldn't find them anywhere amongst the modules. Scratched my head, shrugged my shoulders and put it down to a blonde moment, so sowed some more. Guess what, found them soon afterwards in some peat pots hiding along with the bedding plants. I may be over beaned. Smile
