Any ideas what’s doing this to our lawn? It’s all over the grass...we are in the countryside here so maybe pheasant or deer or something else? No animal dropping anywhere to give us a clue! TIA

Badgers?? Everything is foraging for their little ones now so you will get lots more animal activity. This is the time we often got fox attacks on our chickens. Badgers dig for worms and things so they may be a possibility?

We did have a mole but there is no hole where these marks are. (Unless they backfill?)

Caught a pheasant strolling through tonight but thought they just scratched the ground, some of these marks are about an inch or so deep and perfect round circles. Thought about mice or voles but as I said if you put a stick down it stops after about 1-2 inches.
Maybe it’s aliens?!! Big Grin
