Morning, anyone else been having problems logging on this morning?
Dull today, rain on the way for the weekend but the weather is looking good for next week.
Making chutney today with windfall apples, seems very early this year.
Hope you all have a great day.

I was awake during the night and couldn’t get on then again this morning. There seems to be quite a few sites affected this morning. All ok here now I’m pleased to report. Smile

Morning all

I was panicking earlier when I couldn't log on to my banking site or eBay! Cry Went for a walk with dog to cool down a bit and when I got back both are up and running again, phew, thank goodness for that. Still having problems logging onto the old gardening site, but that's quite normal with the internal problems site is always having! Rolleyes
On a brighter note, we have a bit of sunshine so I am off to post some books sold on eBay and sending back the the SKY boxes, cables and remotes. I've recently ditched SKY (which I never watch) and BT Sport which was costing too much. Found I am quite happy with terrestrial channels for the amount of telly I watch. Quite like BBC  IPlayer.
Plan to clear some more beds and add cardboard and grass cuttings. Hopefully I can dig a few worms as I fancy a fishing trip tomorrow. Cool

Its a hard life this retirement lark, but someone has to do it! Rolleyes

Hi Jay, apparently there was a problem with server which is shared with many hosts and it was reporting DNS errors, I was affected briefly too. Sky broadband services were worst affected.

I managed to get out in the garden properly for the first time this evening! I felt the desperate need to tame the wild pink elder bush/tree/jungle next to my pond as that was getting too tall and far too bushy. The previous owner thought it was a dark purple acer, but it's definitely not. I'm looking forward to pink elderflower drink next year Smile
Then I had to tackle the normal elder growing through a flowering bush of some kind, and I cut it right down to the ground.
The blackberries growing through a rose also had to go, so now I have three massive piles of stuff to put through the shredder in a day or two Smile

Thought I'd share my recent experience with you! When I say recent, I mean in the last 5 minutes.
The dogs went out in the garden, 2 came back but not Spud but he always wanders around for longer so I wasn't concerned. 5 minutes later, Bess barks at the patio doors and there's Spud, patiently waiting to come in.
In he came, jumped up on the chair beside me and, very carefully laid his "gift" down on the cushion. Its usually an apple, but not this time..............

it was a rat's head!! A very fresh, still bloody rat's head!!!
Hope he doesn't bring the rest of it in next time.
