Sounds I love to hear.

I find that chiffchaffs can become irritating and they don't need to be that near when out gardening. I do like to hear a swallow singing though it isn't very melodious.

Birdsong here is amazing, but right now (close to midnight) all I can hear is crickets singing. They'll sing day and night until late summer, but are drowned out by buzzing in daytime. Sometimes we drive to the Med coast and as you get east of Toulouse you start to hear the cicadas and by Carcassonne they're incredibly loud!

Just thought of another couple of natures noises I love .
The scream of swifts. I don’t hear it often because they don’t come over to the island. Only hear them when I go over to Oban in the summer.
Lapwing make the coolest sound. My favourite wading bird
The little gold crest. I always stop to listen & try to spot them. when ever I hear them. Apparently the pitch of their call is one of the first we lose as we get older. I know a few bird watchers that haven’t been able to hear the gold crest call for over a decade. So I always make a point of listening and watching them busily making their way through the trees looking for food.

Hate the infuriating noise flies (bluebottles & all relations) make. Drives me nuts.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

I live far enough away from a school to just about hear kids playing in the school yard. Cool They are pleasant to listen to but I wouldn't like to live any closer to the school. Rolleyes I also hear the bells tolling at the local church. Seems to be mostly Wednesdays and Sundays?
Bats flying are another creature I like to watch and listening to their high pitched sonic directional (sonar)? they use.

The owls calling at night -trying to spot which tree they're in.
The Shouting of young birds as they call, impatiently, to be fed, big yellow beaks gaping...........
