		A kitchen day today.   Stewing apples for freezing, making courgette soup for lunch, roasting cherry tomatoes in the oven. and boiling up big tomatoes for eventual sauce for freezing.  The kitchen was awash with steam.  At one point three large pans on the hob bubbling away.  Crisis only just averted when I nearly put chopped tomatoes in the apple!  I'd have found some excuse to OH for pink apple dollop I'm sure.

		Fishing went well and bagged a trout for supper and returned one fish.    
Came back and picked some apples, Made an apple pie and two corned beef and potato pies.    
Shopping tomorrow.

		Planted out a Heather that appeared in a potted Sage plant can only think that birds  bought it into  the garden.    Picked and juiced more  apples.

		Saved seedsHarvested the last Troms & cut down plant.
 Put the tubs & spud bags away that I washed last week.
 Washed more tubs & spud bags.
 Shut down salad bar.
 Played in the kitchen.

		I’ve also removed a couple of finished Toms plant today still got 7 plants in there with Toms in various stages of ripening.  Hopefully they’ll ripen enough to use because I don’t like green Tom chutney.
